The Product

Water management is the most important requirement of all crops, as it plays a vital role in maintaining soil or growing substrate pH, nutrient availability/uptake and soil bioactivity. Engage’s in-depth research work in water saving and correction has led to the development of several prominent technologies which bring innovation to this important sector.

The most important of these in Integrate (also known as Aqualatus). Regarded as the benchmark of quality for all water saving technologies, Integrate has over 12 years of trials across the world in dozens of crops, both protected and in the field.

Its formulation, unique to Engage, is saving water across the planet and is now seen as essential for crop production in many parts of the world as it will save up to 65% in irrigation, fertiliser and energy. It is one of the most important water saving technologies of the 21st century and as agriculture uses over 70% of the worlds water the difference Integrate can make as more of the world adopts its use will be highly significant now, and in the future!

Integrate is a blend of four liquid technologies working together to save water.  Three are micellular technologies which are attracted to soil particles and to each other.

The fourth is an organic glucose wetter used to break the surface tension of water and to deliver the micelles into the soil. This unique formula is proven in over 300 worldwide trials and 12 years of commercial development/sales to reduce water loss to crops by eradicating surface run off, dramatically reducing surface evaporation and slowing the natural gravitational movement of water.

The saving of water loss means that water application to crops can be reduced by 40-65% whilst still maintaining optimal crop development, yield and quality.

Uses of Integrate

To actively manage the movement and retention of soil moisture to significantly reduce water loss.

Create an equilibrium of air to water in all soils to optimise root growth and activity and prevent waterlogging.

Reaggregate soils from fine silts and clays to open sands to maintain optimal conditions for crop development.

To reduce overall irrigation requirement by 40-65%

Integrate enhances all Water Management Systems

Regen agriculture
Soil Moisture
Desalination
High-tech irrigation

Regen agriculture

Integrate improves soil health, crop development and aids carbon building

Soil Moisture

Require weather-based controllers and soil moisture sensors. Can save between 30% and 70% compared to traditional methods. Integrate significantly increases these savings.

Waters saving

Water
saving technologies

are a new technology category in irrigation management.

High-tech irrigation

Can reduce water usage by 40% to 65% compared to traditional overhead systems.  Integrate reduces water savings by a further 50%.

Desalination

Used heavily in places like the UAE and Saudi Arabia, where energy is now expensive. Integrate is proven to reduce water requirement by up to 65%, saving water and energy costs

Recycled wastewater (greywater)

Recycled wastewater (greywater)

Greywater is used continually in places like the UAE but it is an extra expense. Integrate is compatible with greywater reducing water application rates, saving cost and support growth in the Emirates.
